Fête de la Musique
The Fête de la Musique, Geneva's main annual music event, takes over the streets and squares of the city for three days every summer. From orchestral works to world sounds, music performances take place on over 50 indoor and outdoor stages.
Musicians from all over the world perform during this friendly festival. Classical orchestras, electro jazz bands, rock, pop, world music, French music... the choice is immense. The complete programme for this year's edition is published on the festival website as soon as it is available.
Because most roads are blocked, it is wise to use public transport during the event.
